Just Me and My Boys

I was cleaning the house one day when I noticed it was very quiet. I went to look for Ethan and I found him in his bed. He put himself down for a nap. He's so sweet! I guess I should have known he was so tired. oops!

Ryan has been off track for 4 weeks (he goes back tomorrow), so we've been trying to find fun stuff to do. Last week I took the boys to the Gateway, we rode trax to to Church's Children's Museum, then rode trax back to the Gateway and ate lunch. It was a hit, and did not cost that much money.

I love doing fun things with my boys. It sure beats sitting at home.

A Day Off From Real Life

Our friends invited us up to their Cabin in the Heber area last week. We had a great time spending the day with them relaxing and letting the kids play outside.

Paul, Porter, Courtney, Ryan, Logan, Ethan

After the cabin, they took us to Paul's dad's house because...
he owns a Zebra
and a buffalo
and a pony/donkey looking thing
crazy right?

The kids thought it was super cool.

Stuff I Should Have Blogged About a While Ago

My Birthday
My cute friend Diana (above: Diana, Kelly, Cari) made me Mango Chicken Salad for lunch on my birthday. And my cute friend Courtney made me french toast for breakfast.
My other cute friend Britni (I have lots of cute friends) took me for a mani/pedi.
My friends sure did take care of me this year. I don't know how I scored the coolest friends, but I did.

Grandpa's Cabin

My Grandparents are cool - just ask me.

We went to my Grandpa's in Rigby, Idaho a few weeks ago. We always love going up there. We have not been up since we spent Thanksgiving with them. We wish we could go more often.
Here are Ryan and Ethan by the guest house.

Here is a list of things we did while we were up there:
Roasted Marshmallows by their fire
4 Wheeling
Bodies exhibit in Idaho Falls with Grandma (awesome)
Played Games
Roasted Hot Dogs
Had 4 desserts in one night --We decided to make a dutch oven cake, smores, root beer floats, and Grandma made us Rhubarb Strawberry pie because we've never tried rhubarb before. We were stuffed!
We did a whole lot of just hanging out with Grandma & Grandpa

Grandpa showing us his skills.

Ben helped Grandpa chop some wood.

My boys are crazy

Me & Gramps - love him!

Can you believe that river is in their backyard?

Seriously huge chair. Grandpa calls it his, "king chair" for fishing.

Cute Cute!

I know I have not been blogging so much lately. Hopefully I'll get somewhat caught up here over the next few days (maybe).
Ryan had his Kindergarten testing a few weeks ago. He did awesome. His teacher said he is ready for 1st grade. I can't believe my Ryan will be going to school all day soon!

Before we left for the school, Ethan said he did not want to go with us.
This is where I found him. Hiding in a closet with the door closed. That dirty bugger. :-)

I love Birthdays!

I totally wanted to do a post on my birthday (because I'm cool like that), but I did not have time...so here is a lame quick post...

-Thanks to all of my friends & family who called/stopped by/texted/facebooked/e-mailed etc. It really means a lot lot to me. I have the coolest people in my life. Love you all. And Happy Birthday to me. Only ONE more year in my twenties. Ah! I still feel 17...really.

Giraffe Pee

Ryan's Kindergarten Field Trip
I got to ride the bus with all the kiddos, it was lots of fun to see how Ryan is with all his little friends. There were enough parents who came that there were only 2 kids per group. Super easy! It was cold that day, and we only got to stay for 1.5 hours including picnic lunch. But the kids had a lot of fun!

This girl that was in our group had never been to the zoo before. I asked her which animal she was most excited to see and she said the giraffe. So that's where we spend the most time. They were super stoked to see the giraffe pee & pooh. Kids are awesome!

My little guy sure takes after his momma.

He loves socks!
