I meant to post this a while ago...oops.
The Gingerbread Man came to Ryan's Kindergarten class last November (he was off track in December). But the the Gingerbread Man ran away. Here are some letters that were sent to his school class to be read aloud.

Merry New Year

Ryan is my new Tortilla maker. He is awesome. He is "in charge" of everything tortillas...turning on the griddle thing (is that what it's called), putting the tortillas on, flipping them when he thinks they're ready. I love that he likes to help mom!

For New Years Eve this year we had Rob & Kandis and their girls over. We had Cafe Rio take out for dinner, then just had snacks the rest of the night. We are pretty boring and just sat around and talked, but I thought it was fun.

The cousins had a sleep over up in our bonus room. Ethan ended up being the last one to fall asleep at around 11:30. We let them lay there and watch movies after 9:30.

As far as I know, the kids had a great time too.

On New Years Day Ben's parents took the whole clan out to breakfast and to a movie.

Harris Shindig

We had the Harris Family Christmas party at Pirate Island. We reserved the big room - it was awesome. The kids had a great time! And it was nice not to have to clean up after.

Grandpa Harris and Uncle Harold came from Idaho & Uncle Shawn & Family came from Las Vegas. It was great to see everyone!

Ryan got a DS and Ethan got a toddler equivalent of a DS. They both have so much fun with it. And car rides, and doctors appointments are a breeze now.

Christmas Eve 2010

The pictures are a little out of order, oh well.
Christmas Eve this year we decided to stay home and do it with just the four of us. We decided it was about time to start our own family traditions. They are a work in progress.
We made sugar cookies during the day.
Had snack type foods for dinner (we will change it to steak next year).
Made Christmas sand ornaments, and colored Christmas pictures, and played with stickers.

We talked/read about Christ's birth
And had our special "sleeping potion" (Hot chocolate with marshmallows and a candy cane)

We had a really fun, relaxing Christmas Eve. It was so nice not to have to travel.

It really worked. The boys were so "sleepy" after.
