Never Think

How 'bout that, I finally added some pictures. They are a little out of order, but whatever. We haven't really had that much going on around here so here are a few things we have been doing...

I went to see Twilight on opening day with my sister-in-law Liz, my mom, and my sister. We had a great time and screamed like 12 year old girls in the theater. It was great! I burned the soundtrack to CD, it is awesome...hence the title.

I gave my boys a bath...good for me right? Here is Ryan being silly.

Here is Ethan in the car. I took the picture because A) he is adorable, and B) I had to tape his socks on his feet so he wouldn't take them off. If you ever see me around with Ethan and he doesn't have socks and shoes on in the dead of winter...we'll blame Ethan. He hates having shoes and socks on.

Just did a little Christmas decorating. I don't have a chimney so I hang my stockings...in the hallway? Hmm, I didn't have anywhere else to put them.

Here is a picture of my nicely decorated tree after I put the kids to bed. The next morning Ethan had all the ornaments off the bottom half of the tree. So our tree is a little top heavy. We will keep it that way all month. No need to kill myself trying to keep up with putting the ornaments back right?

And the Twilight sign. As you can tell, I was pretty excited to see the movie.

So I was talking to Ben the other day and I said, "Hey Ben if you get that "blank blank" then we will have celibatory sex".

Ben then replied, "Kelly, don't you mean celebratory sex? I don't think being celibate will help".

Gosh, I'm such a weirdo sometimes. I seem to often speak before I think.

Allergies

I thought I'd update on the boys' allergies. As some of you may know Ryan has food allergies. Ryan has to get skin and blood tested once a year. This year I thought I'd test Ethan too just in case. Here is what we found...

Ryan: On the allergy scale a 20 is considered very high. Peanuts were a 20. And Eggs were a 100 + (that's what they call super duper high off the scale, stay away from eggs in EVERYTHING). I've been telling people Ryan can have eggs in cookies and cakes, but it turns out he can not. Also with eggs it includes ranch dressing, mayonnaise, miracle whip, you know anything with eggs. People often don't think how many things actually contain eggs in them. Our bread, Grandma Sycamore's, actually does not contain eggs, nor do our Bubba's Bagels.

Coconut (which is very rare, I told the doctor he could write a book with Ryan's allergies).

Ryan is also allergic to being cold. He gets a rash if his bathwater is too cool. He gets HUGE hives if he's out in the snow, and forget about cold pool water or lake water. They said the hives from the snow is not what's to worry about as much. It's being immersed in cold water. His whole body could go into shock and he could die (that is worse case scenario, but it could and has happened). So needless to say I have my hands full.

Ethan: They only tested him a few things since his back is so small, but here is the verdict. He is allergic to Eggs (also tested high therefore he also can not have anything with eggs in it) and Peanut. And they will test him more in 6 months.

How did my kids get this? My throat gets a little itchy and swollen with tree nuts. Ben is the same with peaches. But that's it. I do have eczema, and Ben has Asthma, they say that might be a trigger. Who knows?

We sure eat a lot of Beef and Pork and potatoes around here.

Our Halloween

This year we started trick or treating at 5 pm so we could go out to Tooele to see grandparents. Ben took the kids around while I stayed home and passed out the candy (only for an hour then we left it on the porch).

This is our new nephew Lane. Jake and Shayla had their baby boy on Halloween. I had a cold so I did not get to go see him, but Ben says he is adorable! Welcome Baby Lane!

When I was driving the other day Ethan fell asleep and had his legs and hands crossed. It was the sweetest thing. So I had to take a picture while I was driving (not safe I know).

First Time

Today was my first time voting. I called my dad right after and told him the good news (he is very political). He was so proud. I did my civic duty. Yea!!
