Wait, What? It's MY Birthday??

I love birthdays!
Who doesn't?
(really, if you don't I want to know)
I am only 28 this year. Gosh I'm young!!

Here was my birthday in a nutshell (I figure if you're still reading this then you care a little bit at least): Went to Ryan's awesome Preschool graduation
Ben worked from home in the afternoon after the graduation, so Ethan and I took an afternoon/birthday nap!
Went to The Pie for dinner, YUM.
Had friends come visit, and lots of people calling/texting during the day.
It was awesome! Thanks friends/family for thinking of me!
My birthday presents: I got my hair done today!
Getting my nails done before vacation!
Ben also surprised me and got me 50 song downloads for my Zune! (I need help figuring out what to download...I like country, pop, alternative, grunge, some rap songs).

We're awesome!

So are we!

Seeing the water outside The Pie.

Cute!

Tonight we're going to TEXAS ROADHOUSE with friends for my birthday. Hopefully I'll sneak in a few pictures.

p.s. I love dark hair
p.p.s. I love when I get my hair washed at the hair salon...it feel oh so nice

That's all Folks!

My Mighty Mighty Preschooler

My boy Ryan is super smart! He graduated from Preschool on May 27th, 2010.
Here he is with his class before the ceremony.

They sang us 3 cute songs they learned in preschool. It's amazing all the stuff they learn at school, but don't tell you. I wish he'd sing these cute songs at home for me.

Here he is with his preschool teacher of 3 years Ms. M. She has been wonderful with the kids! Ryan loves her, I know he'll miss her a lot!

Ethan getting refreshed after the graduation.
Love the mess!!

My kids are pretty awesome, just ask me!

Bob Loblaw Law Blog

Did I mention I love Arrested Development?

(I guess the title will only make sense to the die hard fans ey?)

A couple of weekends ago we went up to Idaho to visit my grandparents. We had a super time, and really enjoyed visiting with them all weekend. These are a little out of order of what we did, but I'll just explain as we go along. (photo above) The Snake River at sunset.

We drove by my campground.

Grandpa and Ben took the boys 4 wheeling. That was their favorite!

My grandpa has a fire pit in the back yard so on Saturday for lunch/dinner we roasted hot dogs and had smores. Ryan got the marshmallow all over his face, it was awesome! It was so nice to sit by the fire, and then be able to go inside and take a shower. (I hate smelling like smoke).

Cute little Ethan guarding/eating the chocolate.

Grandpa & Carolyn & Ryan

Ben hurt his back while we were up there so here he is soaking up the vibrator/heat pad. We got the kids all ready for bed and watched "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs."

Grandpa sure likes his reclining chairs!

Carolyn

Seriously? I am not an environmentalist, but I'm not this bad either. Why do we have to be at one extreme or the other? Why can't we all just do what we can for the environment and not be crazy? You know, don't drive a bigger vehicle than you need, turn off the water when you brush your teeth, recycle what you can...but don't show up at an award ceremony in a hybrid vehicle when you just flew there in your private jet...And DON'T put stupid stickers on the back of your truck like the ones above! Both of those just make you look stupid.

Okay, enough of that...onto Heise Hot Springs. It was awesome, to be driving all afternoon then go get in the hot springs. Grandpa took us to an awesome pizza place just up the street from the hot springs. It was so fun to be outside eating yummy pizza after swimming in awesomely warm water!

At the Pizza joint.

Grandpa Harris & Grandma Carolyn

Enjoying the view.

Ethan playing on the grass. Ryan was off playing with a new friend he made.
We had a great time and can't wait to go back again!!

My Old T-Shirt

Ben and I are huge fan of the show Arrested Development. The mom on the show, Lucille Bluth or Jessica Walter is always dressed up. I know it's just a TV show, but do women out there really get "dressed" up every day?

The reason I ask: I did not get "dressed up" like Lucille today, but I did put on nice jeans and a fancy looking sweater (because it's freaking cold in MAY!). I even added jewelry!

So after I got home from picking up Ryan from preschool he said he wanted a Popsicle. I got the Otter Pops out of the freezer and found them stuck together so some of them did not get frozen all the way. I tried to pull out the color Ryan wanted and SPLASH! Sticky purple sugar water landed all over my jeans, sweater, hair, face (with make up on), floor, and all over Ryan. I now have a stained sweater and white undershirt...

So THAT'S why when I answer the door on a normal day, I am wearing my workout pants, and an old t-shirt!

Graduation!

Yay! Graduation Day!!
Ben graduated from the University of Utah with a Master's in Business Administration.
We are so proud of him!
And so happy it's over with!!!

Ben's school buddies. The first 3 I don't know, then it's Mackay, Mike & Ben. We're trying to get season tickets for U football this year with Mike...otherwise Ben is going to go through Mike withdrawals. I think Ben spent more time with Mike then with me the last 2 years.

The Grads following the bagpipes to the Huntsman Center.

You can't see him, but Ben is sitting in the 3rd row back on the right hand side 3rd over.

Sorry I caught you off guard Mom! Ryan was less than pleased sitting there during Ben's graduation. He said it was "boring". Good thing Grandma got him to sleep!

Awe, so cute! My newly graduated husband!

Ryan just woke up and did not want to be in pictures. That's why his head is down.

My family who came to the graduation. I took a picture of Ben with his parents with their camera, but forgot to take it with mine! I'll have to get it from them.

We all enjoyed a nice dinner at Good Wood after the graduation. Thanks for all the family who came to support Ben!

It's so nice to have Ben home. Last Saturday Ben did not know what to do with himself! Thankfully we have a pretty busy Summer to keep keep Ben occupied.

Every morning when Ethan wakes up he asks, "Mom, dad have work?"
Mom: "Yes, he does".
Ethan: "Mom, Dad have school?"
Today I was able to say: "No, Ethan, Dad is finished with school, he will be home tonight."
Ethan with a confused look on his face, "Why?"

Hopefully he'll get used to Dad being home. :-)

My Double Burrito

Ben came home from work and the boys wanted to play. Here was the result:
Lots of burrito boys!

That is the cutest double burrito I've ever seen!

We also went to Wheeler Farm last week for Ryan's preschool. This was the only picture I took, can you believe it?
They had a great time at the Farm even though it was freezing!
