The pictures are a little out of order, oh well.Christmas Eve this year we decided to stay home and do it with just the four of us. We decided it was about time to start our own family traditions. They are a work in progress.
We made sugar cookies during the day.
Had snack type foods for dinner (we will change it to steak next year).
Made Christmas sand ornaments, and colored Christmas pictures, and played with stickers.
Opened Christmas PJ's
We talked/read about Christ's birth
And had our special "sleeping potion" (Hot chocolate with marshmallows and a candy cane)
We had a really fun, relaxing Christmas Eve. It was so nice not to have to travel.
Drinking Christmas Sleeping Potion. My friend gave me this idea with a really cute poem to go with it.
It really worked. The boys were so "sleepy" after.
