I know I have not been blogging so much lately. Hopefully I'll get somewhat caught up here over the next few days (maybe).
Ryan had his Kindergarten testing a few weeks ago. He did awesome. His teacher said he is ready for 1st grade. I can't believe my Ryan will be going to school all day soon!

Before we left for the school, Ethan said he did not want to go with us.
This is where I found him. Hiding in a closet with the door closed. That dirty bugger. :-)

I love Birthdays!

I totally wanted to do a post on my birthday (because I'm cool like that), but I did not have time...so here is a lame quick post...

-Thanks to all of my friends & family who called/stopped by/texted/facebooked/e-mailed etc. It really means a lot lot to me. I have the coolest people in my life. Love you all. And Happy Birthday to me. Only ONE more year in my twenties. Ah! I still feel 17...really.

Giraffe Pee

Ryan's Kindergarten Field Trip
I got to ride the bus with all the kiddos, it was lots of fun to see how Ryan is with all his little friends. There were enough parents who came that there were only 2 kids per group. Super easy! It was cold that day, and we only got to stay for 1.5 hours including picnic lunch. But the kids had a lot of fun!

This girl that was in our group had never been to the zoo before. I asked her which animal she was most excited to see and she said the giraffe. So that's where we spend the most time. They were super stoked to see the giraffe pee & pooh. Kids are awesome!

My little guy sure takes after his momma.

He loves socks!

Girl's Night Out

It was my friend, Courtney's 30th birthday a couple weeks ago so we took her to dinner at Cucina Toscana.

Susie, Lisa, Carrie, Danielle, Kell, & Court

We got a picture with the owner, that was pretty cool. (He was telling his staff to bring Courtney a dessert for her birthday)

Danielle & I in front of Bruges. Yeah, gross picture of me. I was laughing because Danielle and I stood there and posed for a picture for a while before we realized Courtney was taking video of us, not a picture.

Waiting for our delicious Waffles for dessert. Yeah, I gained 5 lbs. after this.
It was worth it though!

Kelly, Courtney, Danielle & Carrie
For Courtney's birthday her husband paid for us to stay at the Grand America in Salt Lake. Only the 4 of us could stay over-night. We had such a great time. We stayed up laughing and talking until 3 a.m.

The next morning we went to Market Street Grill for Breakfast, then I had to leave & they went shopping. It's fun to get away and just be with girls sometimes. For some reason you can giggle about stupid things and not feel like an idiot. :)

My Favorite Visitor

First, can I start off by saying I'm moody today?
-My house can't stay clean and it makes me mad
-My older child (who will remain nameless) will NOT listen to me
-I'm doing laundry today (I hate that)
-I am drinking a diet pepsi right now (at 7:30 pm) which means I'll be up all night
-Aunt Flo came for a visit today, she told me she's staying for another 6 days.
-It SNOWED today--In MAY! I hate cold weather, especially when I know it could be warm.
-I found out the class I need to take in the fall is not offered when I need it, so I'm putting off school summer semester and going fall.

On a good note, I was supposed to be in class last night...instead I was home. And instead of doing homework today, I got to do house work.

Okay, enough with Mrs. Negative. (It's Aunt Flo that does it to me)

The kids started swim lessons today. It's super cute.

It's Ethan's first time. He's doing good. He's just too scared to put his head all the way under the water.

More Baseball

Grandpa & Grandma Harris came to the boys' games. That was super nice of them to drive out from Tooele two days in a row. The boys loved having them there.

A Happy Mother's Day

Mom Linda

First, Happy Mother's Day to our favorite Moms.
Our Moms.
We love you both very much!

Mom Sheri

Happy (belated) Mother's Day to all of you!

My Mother's Day was the best ever (I hope yours was too)!
Ryan made me a really cute flower painting with his handprints, and on the Saturday before Mother's Day, he went to the store with his Dad, and asked Dad if he could buy me flowers for Mother's Day. So sweet! Ryan and Ethan also got up in church and sang me some Mother's Day songs. This was Ethan's first time up on the stand to sing in Primary. And Ryan held his hand all the way up to the front so his little brother would not get lost. I cried. It was adorable.

The boys got up early and made me homemade Bruges Waffles. Ben bought some fancy pearl sugar online to make them. Yum!!

He also bought me this waffle maker because our waffle maker just wouldn't cut it for these types of waffles.

He even made dinner! Crazy right? He is so good to me. He tried a new recipe and told me he wanted it to look "pretty". He made a chicken pesto pasta. With homemade cream sauce, asparagus and garlic bread. I'm craving it again just thinking about it!

Thanks to my awesome husband and super cute boys who told me "Happy Mother's Day" at least 15 times that day. I love you.

Baseball

Ryan & Ethan are both is baseball this year. We have games Mon-Thurs & practice Saturday. I love watching them play ball, but I do feel bad we're so busy. They both seem to love it though. Above is Ethan's team. He is in the front with the awesome orange striped undershirt. So far Spring Baseball has been freezing. We have to bundle up at every game. The poor little guys just shiver.

I went with Ethan to his pictures, and Ben went with Ryan. Ben forgot a camera so we didn't get any pictures of his team.

Ryan is number 6.

Ry on first base.

Ethan is a star batter!

I love baseball, and I love that my kids like it too. Although, I don't think we'll do it again at the same time. It's been too crazy. I start school again next week, and Ben has church meetings during the week, so we're just a big ball of "oh crap, what did we get ourselves into."

We love baseball!
