9 Freaking Years/Ben's Birthday

July 19th - Our 9th Wedding anniversary.

Also, I have officially lived in Salt Lake for more time than I lived in Tooele, and California. Crazy...I consider myself a Salt Lake girl now. Anyway, for our anniversary we took our boys to Lagoon. Call me crazy, but I thought it was fun spending time with our boys on our anniversary (we did go on a date the weekend after. It's been a fun/rough/awesome/fast/slow/wonderful Nine years!

July 25th - Ben's Birthday.

I did not get one picture. Sad. But we did take the kids to Antelope Island to play on the "beach". Then went to Famous Dave's for BBQ (BBQ is Ben's favorite). Happy Birthday Ben!! I hope you like your new framing nailer (did I spell that right?).

Fish Lake sans the Fish

Fish Lake

My friend invited us to her Cabin at Fish Lake. We decided since it was Summer time, and our husbands had to work, we'd brave taking the kids by ourselves. Although we did not do any boating or fishing, we did have fun relaxing.

The kids loved the hot tub. We kept the temperature down low so it was like a swimming pool for them.

Ryan, Ethan and I went on a little hike. We drank fresh water straight out a mountain. It was awesome (don't worry - my friend, Cari has been drinking out of it since she was little, and she's still alive!)

Hanging out/throwing rocks down by the lake.

Hiking again

The boys had a great time.

Ryan built a cute boat out of logs & sticks.

We love Summertime!!

Happy Birthday Ryan!!

We love you Ryan!

For Ryan's Birthday we let him choose if he wanted me to make a special dinner or if he wanted to go out. He wanted to invite his friend Elise and go to Wendy's. Super easy.

Cute kids. They had fun eating together!

Ryan opening his presents. He got a Star Wars DS game, and a Star Wars Lego set. He is out lego builder. If he's not playing outside with friends, he's inside building legos.

Ethan, running around. The kids were pretty hyper after a soda and a frosty. And we had graham crackers and frosting per Ryan's request.

My handsome 7 year old. I really can't believe he's 7. Just ask me, I'll say I can't believe it.

Ryan and Elise starting on the lego set.

I'm so grateful Ryan is my son. He brings me so much joy (I know that sounds lame, but it's true). I love having him around. Here are some of the things Ryan loves right now:
Legos!
His friends
His stuffed animals
Star Wars (game, movie, legos, stickers, toys, you name it)
Going on Picnics with the family
Hiking
Playing outside in the dirt
Writing me cute notes
His brother
iCarly (tv show)
Singing to himself (usually the Star Wars theme or Indiana Jones)
Loves listening to Christmas music-even in July

Happy Birthday Ryan!!
