Breakfast in Bed & Other Stuff

 After pre-school play date.

I have not had much to blog about, so I have not blogged much.
Crazy how that works huh?
So feel free to keep reading my random post if you wish...

We had Thanksgiving dinner for my Mom's birthday. It was amazing.  Brant thought he would make Mom feel good and get the number "30" for her candles. (she is still claiming she is 29, although, since I am 29...she has to bump it up to 39).

On Valentine's Day, Ben surprised me with lunch from Subway at home.  Ryan & Ethan were both at school, so we had a mini-date.
Although, if you look closely, my delicious chocolate chip cookie was not so delicious after I noticed a gray hair cooked into it.  Yum.

Ben is the coolest.  He made me an NFL owner.  I now own stock in the Greenbay Packers!  And I am totally bragging...
I'll stop now.

These pictures would not turn the other way.
Ethan and I have long days to ourselves with Ryan gone all day.  We decided to take some photos.  He's pretty crazy/cute.

After daddy got home from work, Eth just wanted to wrestle, then snuggle.  Ethan lives in those "feety pajamees".

Ethan made bread with his friend over at their house, and they sent him home with a loaf of the bread they made.  I asked him if he would share a slice with me...He said, "No, I made it Mom". And took a bite out of the whole loaf!!  That stinker!

Ryan is pretty much the best.  He brought me breakfast in bed out of the blue.  I thought it was adorable!!  Thanks Ryan!

Yes, I still sleep with my pink, heart blanket my
Grandma made me when I was little. What can I say? I still like my "blankie".

Middle Age

I can't believe I own a mini-van!!
I am pretending that I am so comfortable with turning 30 this year, that I thought I'd go all the way......and buy a super sexy Mini-Van.
Seriously, don't you see Mini-Vans and think, "Wow, I bet some hot chick drives that?"
Am I the only one who thinks that??

Although, this is what we just sold.  I would not say a burgundy Toyota Avalon is any sexier, right?
So here's to Middle Age, liking convenience & comfort over looks, and loving that I can open the car door with the push of a button.  My boys love the Van & so do I.  I am one spoiled Mama!

On the Court

At the Jazz Game with some girlfriends.  They played the Nets that night (with Kris Humphries), which is why we had Kim dressed as a Jazz player.
We really just like to take random photos with Kardashian's, Mops, & Guys dressed as Frankenstein on a Football Field Basketball Court.

Do you ever see photos of yourself and think:  "Man, I really need to do something different with my hair/ loose weight!  Yikes!!"
Yeah, Me Either......

Sleepover

Ryan has his first broken bone.  He broke his finger in a play place.  And he lived with it for two weeks without saying a word.  When he complained about it, I noticed it was swollen, and took him to Dr. Duffy.  I definitely earned the Mother-of-the-Year award for not noticing earlier.  Good thing Ryan is tough.
P.S.  Yes, I am very aware of what finger is broken, it's cool....some moms like to be flipped off for days.

The boys had a sleep over a few weeks ago.  They had a lot of fun.
I am a super cool mom and ordered pizza and root beer and did crafts.  Yeah, I'm awesome.  I am also the awesome mom that set out their favorite cereal in the morning and made them fix breakfast themselves, while I slept.
Happy Sleepover!

Celebrity of the Week

Ben and I went to lunch at the Elementary School with Ryan when he was Celebrity of the Week.  After lunch he got to put his mark on a star.

We really like Ryan's teacher, but she looks a little less than thrilled to be there.  Hey, I would have the same look on my face if I had to babysit/teach 25 seven year olds!

Where I Got My Middle Name

 Sharon Rae Ford Reese
My Grandma Passed away on January 10th, 2012
She had an 18 month battle with pancreatic cancer.  She held out as long as she could.  I miss her so much.  Just today I had a question about a recipe, and thought about calling her...

We went to visit her and help her clean/ move furniture around the Saturday before she died.  She was always in good spirits.

Ryan fed her Jello.
Ryan and Grandma Reese were buds.  Grandma used to play legos with Ryan. Grandma gave Ryan his favorite Mr. Bear.
Ryan had a hard time at the funeral...we all did.

At the viewing the night before with Grandpa.  I was so grateful to have my brothers & sisters come back home.

I love you Grandma.
We'll see you again soon
(but hopefully not too soon, I have too much do)

Love, Kelly Rae

Narcissism for New Years

Happy New Year to all my awesome friends out there.
I hope your New Years was as fun as ours.

Our New Years was full of Friends, Food, Fireworks & Farts Fun
(Seriously, we had a few dips with Jalapenos)

New Years Day I taught my new primary class.  And was excited to have a lot of cute kids this year.  Ethan is in the class just above Sunbeams, and Ryan in in Senior Primary!! Can you believe how old my kids are getting?  (Not how old I'm getting...because I will always be young and fruitful)

The Day After New Years Day (yeah, that's a new holiday in Utah) was fun as well.
Ben's Parents took all of the family out to Virg's in Tooele.  It is always delicious.  Ben's family is huge, and just keeps getting bigger.

Ben, Kandis, Malin & Rob

The rest of the Clegg Clan.

After Lunch, we went shooting with my Dad, Mom, brother Brant & the boys.
Then we went up to Rob & Kandis' for dinner.  We had a super great day!

(I forgot my camera, so Brant took a picture of me shooting. I did not get any pictures of anyone else...probably because I'm narcissistic like that)

Now back to the grind.
On a positive note...

I HATE JANUARY!
(oh wait...that's not positive at all)
