Missionary

We went to Tooele to see Uncle Peter (Ben's brother) get set apart as an LDS missionary this week. He will serve in Mexico. We are so proud of Peter and excited for him.  He left for the MTC yesterday.

I was so happy the boys got to see this. I'm grateful for Uncles that are good examples to my boys.  Ryan says he wants to serve his mission in Texas, and Ethan says he wants to serve his mission in Mexico - just like Uncle Peter.

Snowboarding

My boys went boarding for their first time yesterday.  They had so much fun, and were so tough!  Every time they fell down, they got right back up.

Me & Ry-Man

I do not have these pictures sideways on my computer, but for some reason, they will not turn the other way on the blog...so sorry.  Anyone know how to fix it??
Anyway, Ben and I would let the boys go and run down the hill after them.  It was exhausting awesome!

They seriously were so good! I was impressed.

Here was Ryan getting a little nervous.

This was Ethan's, "I have to pee", stance.

Green

After preschool playgroup again.
We tried out green mac and cheese and applesauce for St. Patty's Day.  It was not a huge hit.
These kids are so fun to have around!

L was the only girl this time, so Ethan was so kind and played babies with her.

Ethan helping me wash vegetables for dinner.  I love it when I have helpers!

The little leprechaun left the boys some green treats, Lucky Charms, green milk, and peed green in the toilet.
Happy St. Patrick's Day!

A Little Color

I have been in the mood to make my house a little lighter & brighter.  I had these old frames, and put this scrapbook paper in them a while ago...

Today I replaced them with this scrapbook paper...

It's a little bright, but I think they're fun.

My Soccer Champ & I Can't Believe I'm Posting This

Ethan freaking loves soccer!  He is pretty much a professional.  Last week he scored 1 goal for his team, and 1 goal for the other team!  We're so proud!

Here he is with a few of his teammates & his awesome coach.

Professional soccer player? I think so.

We had the opportunity to watch my friend's baby the other night, Baby Ben.  He is adorable!  I put my kids to bed and got to hold him for a few hours--it was the best!  Can a baby just appear at my house? I really want another one!!

Yup, I'm posting this.
You're welcome.

Facials with my sister at my Mom's.

Breakfast in Bed & Other Stuff

 After pre-school play date.

I have not had much to blog about, so I have not blogged much.
Crazy how that works huh?
So feel free to keep reading my random post if you wish...

We had Thanksgiving dinner for my Mom's birthday. It was amazing.  Brant thought he would make Mom feel good and get the number "30" for her candles. (she is still claiming she is 29, although, since I am 29...she has to bump it up to 39).

On Valentine's Day, Ben surprised me with lunch from Subway at home.  Ryan & Ethan were both at school, so we had a mini-date.
Although, if you look closely, my delicious chocolate chip cookie was not so delicious after I noticed a gray hair cooked into it.  Yum.

Ben is the coolest.  He made me an NFL owner.  I now own stock in the Greenbay Packers!  And I am totally bragging...
I'll stop now.

These pictures would not turn the other way.
Ethan and I have long days to ourselves with Ryan gone all day.  We decided to take some photos.  He's pretty crazy/cute.

After daddy got home from work, Eth just wanted to wrestle, then snuggle.  Ethan lives in those "feety pajamees".

Ethan made bread with his friend over at their house, and they sent him home with a loaf of the bread they made.  I asked him if he would share a slice with me...He said, "No, I made it Mom". And took a bite out of the whole loaf!!  That stinker!

Ryan is pretty much the best.  He brought me breakfast in bed out of the blue.  I thought it was adorable!!  Thanks Ryan!

Yes, I still sleep with my pink, heart blanket my
Grandma made me when I was little. What can I say? I still like my "blankie".

Middle Age

I can't believe I own a mini-van!!
I am pretending that I am so comfortable with turning 30 this year, that I thought I'd go all the way......and buy a super sexy Mini-Van.
Seriously, don't you see Mini-Vans and think, "Wow, I bet some hot chick drives that?"
Am I the only one who thinks that??

Although, this is what we just sold.  I would not say a burgundy Toyota Avalon is any sexier, right?
So here's to Middle Age, liking convenience & comfort over looks, and loving that I can open the car door with the push of a button.  My boys love the Van & so do I.  I am one spoiled Mama!
