What the What??

Can you guess what this is?

It's not a freaking weird looking tree that is extremely out of place and quite frankly an EYE SORE!
It is a Cell Tower.

I think I'd rather look at an actual cell tower than that ugly thing. It seriously does not fit in.
Ben works at Rocky Mountain Power...I told him they should have all the power poles look that "beautiful". HA! He had a good laugh.

Where did we find this lovely "tree"? In Utah County after we went to Pirate Island (but did not get any pictures there).

As most of you know, I love chocolate. And what do I love more than chocolate? Chocolate with peanut butter (but I only eat it at night after the kids go to bed...since they're allergic). You can tell by my growing waist. I've been doing P90X for the past two months and have not seen a huge difference. Don't get me wrong, I love the workout. I know I am getting stronger...but I don't see a difference.
I've been pretty bummed about it, until I looked in my pantry one day and saw this junk (above). That is why I have not lost weight. So...I threw it in the trash. And I threw the kids candy away (I'm mean, I know), I threw Ben's twizzlers away. The only junky thing I'm keeping is my smore pop tart that I eat when I'm craving something sweet. I also stopped drinking soda...it's been 14 days and counting. So here's hoping the waist will get just a little bit smaller and my arms will look a little bit tighter.

I went to see Last Song last night with my Aunt Nancy, cousin Kelsie, cousin Amy, and my mom. I love Nicholas Sparks movies! I actually like to cry sometimes.

I've been having headaches every freaking day...does anyone have these? What do you do? Is it because I've cut back on sugar? Please help! :-)

Hey hey hey...it's been a while since I commented on your blog. So get ready! If you want to get rid of any chocolate/peanut butter combos, send them my way, since I pretty much eat everything and anything. I don't even feel bad. I have to go get that diabetes/pregnancy test thing, and Alex told me I'll have it...so that's fun.
AND-you are having headaches because of the soda...I totally know about this on account of I stopped drinking diet coke for like a week, and I had splitting headaches everyday. Solution: start drinking soda again.

I know, I'm probably the most helpful person you know.

You are getting headaches from the lack of caffine. I bet you anything that is why. I get them too.

I feel the same as you about those cell towers, hideous. But nothing could be sadder than seeing candy in the trash, shame on you, haha. And I bet your headaches are totally related to you weaning yourself off soda. Hang in there, I hear it only takes a couple weeks for your body to adjust! You are awesome.

Oh my word, chocolate and peanut butter is an amazing combination! I love it SO much that I have to be a good girl and just not buy it in the first place. And that is HARD to do!

I only bought one bag of candy this year for all 16 of my preschools and my own kids. They got so excited finding the eggs that they didn't seem to mind that there was only 1 or2 candies in each egg. It was a genius idea, because then they didn't fill their bodies up with crap AND I didn't get stuck with the leftovers. I don't mind the leftovers because like you, I love chocolate, but I'm trying to be healthier and not gain 80 lbs this pregnancy! haha

I'm so proud of you for getting rid of the junk AND doing P90. Can't wait to see your skinny hot body, Kel!

Sorry I misspelled something in my previous post and that drives me crazy!!:) So I was saying that by now you know it is the soda:) If you are just patient though the headaches will stop. Lance had that problem and he kept going back and drinking coke but when he finally stopped he lost 40 pounds!! Of course he was exercising too but it really does make a huge difference just not drinking soda anymore:)
