Camping

My Parents invited us up camping at Washington Lake in the Uintas.  Ben had other obligations so I took the boys up.  The boys had a lot of fun, especially being up there with Grandma & Grandpa.

My boys with their Grandma Harris.

Trying to stay on the rocks and out of the mud per Mom's request.

Coloring and playing with sea creatures by the fire.

Ryan with Grandpa Harris. Going for a little hike by Trial Lake.

Opening the valve at Trial Lake just like good ol' Cardie Clegg (below). I have no idea if we are related...I should ask.

We had a good time. Except at night when Ryan threw up 4 times.  So the next night when Ben came up and Ethan said he was sick...I decided it was time to go home early.
Although we left at dark and almost hit a cow coming down the mountain.  I was looking for deer..not a slow black cow.  I am grateful we did not roll trying to dodge it.

Thanks Grandma & Grandpa, we had a fun time!

Ben to the Rescue!

More pictures?
Yes, please.

So here are photos from the same events, just from Ben's phone.
Ryan's birthday.

Yay, Ben got pictures of the fun slide!

Opening Grandma & Grandpa Harris' present.
Don't worry, it wasn't something from Christopher & Banks.

Ethers hanging out with Uncle Marshall.

 Ben's Happy Birthday!!
Don't you love photos that you don't even remember posing for? Yeah, these were quite a surprise to come upon...You're welcome.

Ben requested Strawberry Shortcake for his birthday. Yummy! And thankfully requested going out to BBQ for dinner.  I don't mind making birthday dinners, but it is also nice to go out.
Happy Birthday Benny!!

Ryan's Baptism Day

I've been to several baptisms, but nothing prepares you for how you'll feel on your own child's baptism day.  It has been a while since I have felt the spirit that strong.  I know Ryan made the right decision in choosing to be baptized.  And I am so grateful that Ryan has a Dad who is a worthy priesthood holder who could baptize him and confirm him a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  What a special Day for Ryan, and for all of us!

We are so grateful to all of our friends and family who came to the baptism.  We know it was a sacrifice to come on a Saturday morning. Please know we are so thankful, and we are so blessed to have so many great people in our lives.

I apologize in advance for all the pictures taken while guest where eating their food.  I just knew if I did not take pictures at the beginning, then it would not get done.

Rick, Liz, little Sage, Maren & Marshall

Our sweet friends, Lowell & Cheryl.  Ryan has known them since he was a baby. Ry calls them Grandma & Grandpa.

 Rob, Kandis & my Mom

 Our friends, the Belchers

Grandpa Bob & Grandma Linda with baby Elsie.

I also want to give a special thanks Sam & Shalleece, the Hulet's, the Suker's, the Dana's, my brother Brant, Sister King, & Brother Banks who also came to the baptism, but could not come to the lunch, or I just did not get a picture of.  And also to my friend Brittany Jones who is also a member of the Stake Primary Presidency, for giving Ben & Ryan VIP treatment at the baptism, showing them where to go and what to do.
Thanks again, we seriously are so blessed!

Ben & the food table.  Thanks for everyone who brought food. It all turned out delicious.
We had pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans, potatoes, yummy salads & desserts.

Ryan opening a letter from Uncle Peter who is on a mission in Mexico.  We thought that was really neat that Peter wrote him a letter for his baptism day.

Opening his new scriptures from Mom & Dad.

We love you Ryan & are so proud of you!

Hulk Smash BBQ with Jazz Bear

Our friends the Belcher's had a fun Hulk Smash party for their son, and Ethan's friend Porter at their cabin.  The Jazz Bear stopped by for a visit. So fun!

The bear signed a photo for Ryan, and signed  Jazz visors for the boys.

Ethan was scared of the Bear, and did not want to get close.

The bear spraying us with silly string.

 Cute!

The Bear decided it would be awesome to sign my forehead with a sharpie.
It was great to have an opportunity to see the bear up close (really close).
(p.s. does this shirt make me look fat? Holy cow!)
Cute Ethan watching Porter open presents.

 Ryan Iron Man

 Love these girls.

Paul had his cranes from Mountain Crane up at the cabin and we got to take a ride in the man-lift.  Super Scary Fun!

(Happy 400th post to Me!!)

Clegg Family Party-First Day of School-Scouts-24th

At Liberty Park for the celebration of Grandpa Howard Clegg's 100th birthday.  Thanks to Aunt Laurie & Uncle Dan for putting this on.  We had a great time!

Remembering Grandpa

Ryan's first day of 2nd Grade! Seriously?
He has the best class this year & the best teacher.

Lining up by his teacher to go to class.

My cute Wolf.
Ryan's First day of Scouts. He looks so handsome.  Ryan has great den leaders, and is really excited to be in scouts.

My Mom bought us all Bee's tickets for the 24th of July (Pioneer Day).  We all had a fun time.  It was great to see Lynzie too. Kit is still in Afghanistan, so Lynzie came home for a visit.

My cute little Ethan bug.

Gotta love Summertime!
