Texting Etiquette

I want opinions. Not just "I want to please Kelly" opinions. I mean your real, true opinion.

Texting Etiquette:

A. Do you think there is a "Texting Etiquette"?

B. Are there social situations where you should or should not text? What are they?

C. Are there things you should or should not text about?

Whether you know me or not, leave me a comment and let me know. Thanks a bunch!

Yes to all. Like really, it's a baby blessing, do you really need to text someone this minute? Ugh. Sometimes texting makes me angry. I'll text you all about it.

Yes. You should not text at a funeral, baby blessing, etc.. I think depending on the person you are texting allows you to say certain things.. If I were to text Jennie or Summer or something, I would text about anything, as would they.. If I am texting someone I don't know all the well or am not as close with, I would not text about pooping, periods, sex and all that. I think it is all about who you are texting and what you would talk about if you were in person.. Make sense?

There is definitely texting etiquette. I once heard someone say if you have more than one question to ask or one sentence to say, call them. Sitting at home (or at work when you can't call anyone) text. But driving, and special occasions, just don't do it.

I think that if the conversation requires more than like 5 total texts DIAL the PHONE NUMBER!!!! There, that's my texting etiquette, and Kell, no sexting, that's not etiquette, it's just gross! haha

But, i did have my bishop text me during sacrament meeting to ask us to speak in a couple weeks, I got it when I got home and noticed then time and when i called him on it, he said, when the spirit speaks I have to act on it immediately, i thought it was pretty funny!
