If you have not been to Bruges Waffles & Frites in Downtown Salt Lake yet, you are truly missing out on something great...and fattening. Seriously the best waffles I had ever had. And the frites (fries) are yummy too! Go there! But if you go in the winter, make sure you bundle up, they only have a few seats outside.

Ben and I had the entire weekend to ourselves. We had the best time. Thanks Mom for watching the boys all weekend. We just stayed home but did lots of fun things around Salt Lake. And ate at lots of yummy places. And we went to the U game (bet you couldn't guess that by the picture above) against New Mexico with some friends.
Ben took Monday off so we could spend time with the kids. We took them to Village Inn for breakfast and to Kangaroo Zoo to play. Took them to Bruges to try the Frites (they can't have the waffles). And bought 2 new movies to watch at home. Now Ben is back at work and we are back in reality. Not too fun if you ask me. It's always hard to come back from "vacation".

Sounds fun!! It is always hard to have to go back to "real life" I agree:) We were at the Utah game too (my first time out of the house in two weeks)!! Always a good time when they win:)
Looks yummy. Two of my favorite things, fries and waffles! Love your blog, sorry to hear about Summer. Hope all went well and she is feeling better soon.
That is so nice of your mom to take the kids over the weekend. Those waffles looked delish! I agree, it's difficult to go back to reality when you've had a nice break like that.
