Yesterday Ben went golfing with friends he graduated with for the PMBA Golf Tournament. They had dinner after at the Country Club and were able to bring "a guest". I was that "guest". I love the wives of those 3 guys in the photo above, so it makes it a lot of fun to get together. Also, each person was given 2 raffle tickets. Ben gave me one of them. Yeah, I won. I'm awesome. I won a new golf bag (Ben thinks it's his), golf towel, golf balls, and a $50 gift card to La Caille (which we probably won't ever use, have you seen the prices of their food!).
I just wanted to make all you kids out there jealous that I won a golf bag...booyah!
Thanks Ben for graduating so I could enjoy all the perks.
p.s. Ben's hot (like attractive hot, not sweating in his pants hot)!

Today: Utah vs. UNLV
Ben is currently at the game with Ethan. These are the photos he has sent me so far. Above - Ethan at the Rio of Cafe before the game.
Here he is now, at the game, asleep. He's taking a $22 nap! I'm sure he got some $47 cotton candy out of it though (isn't that how much it runs these days?).Ryan and I went on a date during the game. I told him he could do whatever he wanted. So we went to Wendy's for lunch. Then to Target & got a Lego Camper that we built together at home. Next we're going to make cookies. Love this boy! (sorry for the gross picture of me)
Something to think about:
Do you ask friends to hold their babies? If so, how long should you hold them before it becomes "creepy"?
*Break from thought because I had another thought *
See how my quotation is before the question mark after creepy? I know if you're saying something, then the quotation goes after punctuation mark...but what if you're not saying anything, you just saying "creepy" with air fingers? Anyone Anyone?
*Break 2nd thought, back to original thought*
So how long should you hold a friends' baby? 5 mins, 10 mins, 1 hour? You don't want to hold it for way too little time or it seems as if you don't like it...but too much time...borderline creepy right?
Heck, I'm only 98% positive I would not ask to hold a strangers baby. (don't think I'm crazy, I said 98%).

You need micro surgery gal! just like fantastic voyage! there is a dark spot in your brain matter that needs to be lazed out..No, I take that back, the ship and crew would definately be in danger!
I think your "creepy" is fine the way it is. And I once had a total stranger at stake conference ask to hold my newborn baby. She told me her grandbaby was in California and her "arms were aching," so could she please take my baby back to her seat with her? I was pretty shocked. Finally she sat down next to us and grabbed my baby, until I decided she needed to eat and we skipped out of there. That was definitely creepy.
Funny. We just had a $50 gift certificate there and we did this...we went to dinner before at a super cheap Italian place. Then we went to La Caille and dressed up fancy and ordered appetizers and dessert. It worked out great. Seriously, it was FUN. Do it! You will love your time and it made for a great date. Enjoy!!
Kelly, you are flippin' hilarious! Love yer guts!
Andrea
you are a lucky winner. We used out 50 bucks and it was still way too much-we were done with the 50 after the appetizers!
WOW! Kelly I think you need the Ritalin or something to help your drifting mind. Were you holding a friends baby and you thought of this or just a random thought that popped in your head?
Summer
I want Cafe Rio after reading this post! I'm just sayin'. lol
I wouldn't think it were creepy if a friend held my baby a long time, but I think most friends are considerate enough not to visit TOO long when you have a new baby anyway. If you're with that friend for about 30 minutes, and you hold their baby for 15 - 30, that would seem about right to me.
you are hilarious. Frankly I haven't even thought about how long you should hold a baby. I doubt most of the time the baby would even be good long enough for it to even be a worry. Ya kids at the football game is so not fun. Derek and Kyle were crazy and it was crazy hot too! that was cute he fell asleep. wish my kids would have!
You are so stinkin cute!!! I love your blogs, they sure do make me smile and chuckle.
I would hold a baby for as long as they let me. Hours would be fine with me.
You are funny Kelly...I was laughing while reading this post. Poor little Ethan was so tired he didn't even make it through the game. Looks like you guys have had some fun times. Hope you are doing well.
