Ginger Temple

This last Friday was perfect weather for our annual go to the temple lights. It felt pretty darn warm (like 42 degrees-ish).
Thankfully we were able to get Rob & Kandis to go with us last minute.
Here is what we do:
Meet at the Gateway and let the kids choose where to eat in the food court.
Then we ride trax to temple square. See the lights, get hot chocolate, and ride the train back to Gateway. We love it. We might have to do it again, I'm already sad it's over!

We're awesome. (I rolled the top of my boots down...much better.)

Ben's brother Rob & Family

Waiting for the train, drinking hot chocolate. These boys are the cutest! They were so good, and so grateful to be able to go. They love this tradition.

Ben made a gingerbread house with the boys.
We let them do the candy by themselves, it was so adorable.
I LOVE Christmas time!

Yay, I got you to roll your boots down! (Or at least I'll take the credit for it. I do think it makes them look cuter.) Looks like a lot of fun! I love this time of year.

I love the TRAX idea- I wonder if Connor would be good on the train?

The roll of the boots was a good move, I bought my GB House, but....it looks kind of complicated.

You all are so festive and with your kids being so good and excited to go- you should go again-after all, it is only like 2 months of the year and..(my fav) very inexpensive.(compared to going out and paying for a sitter)

Thanks Sara, you did inspire me!

Amanda- yes, Conner would love the train. You can even carry your stroller on trax. It only takes a couple minutes on the train from Gateway to Temple square. If you don't want to eat though, you could catch trax from 9400 S. in Sandy.

Super fun, and yeah for the "warmer" weather!
