The Fair
My brother-in-law Rob invited Ben and I to the Utah State Fair last Friday, but with Ben being super busy with work, going out of town every week, and starting his MBA he doesn't have much time for anything extracurricular. So, Rob and his wife Kandis took pity on me and let me tag along with them to the fair with my boys. We had a blast. I love fairs. Something about noise, the smell of delicious food mixed with cow manure and cotton candy. Yum! I am seriously terrified to ride carnival rides, I guess I've watched the History channel too many times, but who doesn't love to be around them? Just watching everyone have such a great time (while I'm envisioning the diseases they'll get). It was fun going with Kandis, she got stopped by almost every vendor there. She must be too nice. I just look at the stuff and never make eye contact. It was hilarious when someone from Party Gals asked her if she'd ever heard of them. She said no, and they began to tell her all the fabulous lotions they have (not to mention other unmentionables...unmentionable because I will blush). I told her she needed to start telling people she's heard of them when they ask. Anyway here we are at the fair...
Ryan loves the tractors.
With the sheep. Ryan wasn't very happy about a having a picture taken.
Ryan and Cousin Raygan petting the rabbit. Ethan loved the rabbits, he would giggle and point and want to get down to touch them.
I did let Ryan ride one ride, he chose the helicopters. Don't worry I sanitized his hands after...then got a snow cone. Yum!
Me, Kandis, Ryan, Ethan, and Raygan in front of a horse made of horseshoes.

I have to say it definitively looks better than the South Jordan fair! Glad you had fun! Hope your all feeling better!
That looks like fun, I hope we can make it to the fair this year. My mom works there because my Grandparent's have a fireplace booth. Don't worry though, she's not one of those pushy vendors. She sits in the back and reads her book so that people won't bug her and ask questions. :)
I love the fair too! We usually go to the Star Valley Fair in Wyoming but missed it because we were so busy with other stuff. And yes I designed my blog header..I think it turned out great. Let me know I can do one for you.
